The most popular beer in Finland.
A full-bodied lager beer with a stronger taste and darker colour.
The symbol of strength Karhu (the bear) is an age old symbol of strength. Compared to regular lagers, Karhu beer has a stronger taste and darker colour. In addition, slightly more raw materials are used in brewing Karhu beer. The result is a substantial beer, featuring a fuller original gravity, with a stronger hop and malt flavour. Even as the domestic market leader, Karhu is an individual choice.
The strength of the bear is understated but undisputed. Karhu doesn’t have to shout to be heard.
Recommended serving temperature 6-8º

To be honest, it's no different from Saku or Lapin Kulta, but anyone who has been to Finland knows that Karhu has much more street cred than the other beers. It's not just a beer, it's a fashion choice! Too bad it's not produced in Pori any more (and I'm not sure if the cans ever were, only the bottles with a serial number starting with P came from there).
